Production
Music production is the process by which a record producer or music producer oversees the recording and production of a track, single, or record.
Tracking
Multitrack recording is a way of recording music in which separate recordings of multiple sound sources are made which are then used to create a single recording.
Mixing
Audio mixing is the process by which multiple sounds are combined into one or more channels. In the process, a source's volume level, frequency content, dynamics, and panoramic position are manipulated or enhanced.
Mastering
Mastering is the term most commonly used to refer to the process of taking an audio mix and preparing it for distribution. There are several considerations in this process: unifying the sound of a record, maintaining consistency across an album, and preparing for distribution.
ADR
Film/TV
Automated Dialogue Replacement is the process of re-recording dialogue by the original actor (or replacing actor) after the filming process to improve audio quality or make changes to the originally scripted dialog.
Voice Over
Voice-over is a production technique where a voice that is not part of the narrative (non-diegetic) is used in radio, television, production, filmmaking, or other presentations. It may also be read for events as award presentations.
Dolby Atmos Mixing
Dolby Atmos is an immersive, object-based sound format that allows you to place your music in three-dimensional space. With a much wider palette than stereo, you can now place and move sounds in three dimensions to capture the artist's vision fully. Dolby Atmos can easily be added to your existing workflow and is supported by major music streaming services.
